The ARL/SRI is a "no-kill" animal sheltering organization established in 1938. Our shelter accepts and re-homes an average of 400 owner-surrendered pets a year. We are funded by donations from individuals and business and grants. We receive no government (tax) funding. Poodle Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer 501 (c)( 3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless Poodles within Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island only. All dogs receive necessary medical care, are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and vaccinated. We evaluate each dog to ensure a long and loving relationship between Poodle and new owner.
