Poodle Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer 501 (c)( 3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless Poodles within Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island only. All dogs receive necessary medical care, are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and vaccinated. We evaluate each dog to ensure a long and loving relationship between Poodle and new owner. We are a non-profit organization made up of only volunteers. We work with a rescue in Villaba Puerto Rico that rescues dogs from the streets, dogs that have been abandoned and dogs rescued from shelters that kill. The rescue in PR spays/nueters, de-worms and gets the dogs into good health. We ship them up on a cargo plane and find them homes in the Southern NH area. Last year we rescued 108 dogs! - Read more
